Things aren’t always what they seem! Many times an instrument stamped with one name was actually made by another manufacturer. The identity of the true maker is often impossible to trace, but here are a few of the most commonly seen “stencils” and their true identity. These horns are NOT the same as the manufacturer’s “house brand” and do NOT follow the same serial number sequence. There is almost no information available on Asian made stencils.
There are plenty more out there that do not appear on this list because I am unsure of their origin. It was not at all uncommon for a company to source horns from multiple vendors, hence multiple entries. I am offering a Julius Keilwerth ST-90 Tenor Saxophone in used condition that has been a daily player and well maintained. This instrument has normal wear and surface scratches. There is a little dent on the curve of the bell ( pictured ) and some scratches that you can see, but overall it’s a nice horn and comes ready to play! The case has a few battle scars on the outside but the latches work fine. Comes with a Selmer C mouthpiece that has some wear but is usable. The serial number is 770449. Feel free to ask any question or for additional pics.

Thanks for looking! This saxophone is very clean no dent or obvious sign of scratches. Worth over £1000 just had it set up by a technician at the cost of £68. I m selling it to buy a soprano sax I like. I have a few other alto horn though this us my best alto i have. I played this sax for less than a hour since I got it and rhe person I bought it from said he only used it for a few sessions in the studio. Keilwerth sax is well known by pro players.
Grover Washington jr used to pay a keilwerth. The case is very clean no damage. I can deliver for free locally. Any question please feel free to ask. Thanks for looking.
